Classic Colt crashing a Datsun event?

Just wondering if any NW guys would be interested in meeting up at the Blue Lake datsun show in August? I'm sure some of us will know Datsun peeps at the show also.

I had thought about going to Canby sometime, most of the PNW guys go to that every year.

Blue lake is August 12th.

Yes, Canby is a Datsun event as is Blue Lake, but there is parking just outside the show to meet at.

Yeah thought so, but was holding out hope that they might have decided to expand a bit. It's really too bad we don't have a JCCS type show up here.

You never know. The Datsun's only show down in Williams Az let in "other" models last year (off the street were the Datsuns were parked) and this year they are promoting it as an all imports welcome show. Are there even enough non Datsuns in the PNW to make a JCCS type show possible? I mean, I've been to a good portion if the JCCS shows and they are always a Datsunfest as it is. Don't get me started on them now allowing late 80's/90's ricers into the show..........................

Yeah I would think there are enough non-datsuns around. Hell there's quite a few here in salem that are just driving around daily. Luvs, toyotas of all sorts, little couriers, hondas, and then all of our colts lol. I think if they let in, and had all the "other" makes and models in their own section, it would be big enough to be worth it.

We have Old School Reunion which is all Pre-88 European and Asian imports only.

yeah i know about that, but i'd rather be able to integrate into canby since it's right up the road from me lol.

Lol, there were guys that came all the way over from Idaho for OSR lol.

Yeah I went down to long beach one year too lol. It would just be nice to be able to drive up the road and have something that cool around.

I rarely even go to shows anymore. THe blue lake is easy to park since you just park down with all the other non datsun/nissan cars in the same field.
