(Closed) Sapporo opera lights

Post by Msapporo » Wed Apr 21, 2021 12:51 pm

———Found them via Mitsuman, so this topic is closed

For someone in Europe I am looking for the lights that came on the silver roof / c-pillar bar on the Plymouth Sapporo.

No clue what they are called, can’t get to my interchange manuals at the moment.
I tried searching car-parts.com, but there is no good search item for it, so I will need to call each yard to find out :o

Thanks !

Which of the following parts do you need?

Is the pictured car yours or is it "stock footage"?
Whosever it is, it is a good specimen.
Forget the color. The glass is radiant and the aluminum roof band looks devoid of dimples. That's no small thing.
I love the "OK Mitsubishi" sticker in the window - that's authentic and it looks like the sticker is in good condition.

I dismantled two 1978 Sapporos which had these lights.
I assume that my metal parts are at least somewhat pitted/corroded and that my plastic parts are photodegraded.
Are yours missing entirely, or are you looking for a repair or upgrade?

Thanks, for the info,

I was asked for the lights, so I assume he needs the whole light assembly, all of it, for both sides.
I’ll ask him for some more info.

The photo was from curbsideclassics.com, :D
