New 77 Dodge Colt Owner

Post by GiggleFairy » Fri Feb 01, 2019 12:17 pm

I bought myself a 77 Dodge Colt back in Novmember as my first car, it’s a fun little car but I’m having a hard time finding parts for it. It’s the original 4g32 engine and tranny, I’m curious if there is a website that has colt parts. Currently looking for a shifter bushing and it seems almost impossible to find. Is there another car I’m able to take the shifter bushing and work? Not really a car person and hoping to get into the car show scene so If there is any information about parts or helpful tips it would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Colt ownership. There is no dedicated place you can go to get Colt parts. Body and interior parts you will probably have to find either through a site like this, eBay, or social media. Most mechanical stuff can be found at Rock auto. I believe a member (mitsuman?) here posted a part # for the shifter bushing recently and that it was still available.

These are still plentiful and cheap.
You can find one on eBay and on many of the online Mitsubishi dealership sites.
