Coffee leaves (Kaffeeblätter), Thailand 100g

From the mountainous region of Mae Salong we get this delicious rarity from the coffee cooperative Doi Chang. They produces without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Similar to the production of Oolong tea, the leaves are rolled and gently dried in an elaborate process.
Steep 1-2 teaspoons for about 4 minutes (can be infused several times). The caffeine content is lower than that of coffee or tea.
Its taste is aromatic with a pleasant honey sweetness and slightly earthy note.
