Assam Schwarztee, Halmari Top

The Halmari plantation is located in the Dibrugarh District, in Upper Assam. It is famous for its exceptional sweet-malty teas. This batch has a voluminous leaf with many golden tips. Its infusion is rather pale for an Assam tea with orange highlights. The cup is full-bodied, almost bulky with a wonderful malty note that lingers long on the palate.
