More information about Olland Knubberkirsch Our unique fruit liqueur is made from ripe Knubber cherries from the „Altes Land“ and fine cherry distillate. The best hand-picked Knubber cherries are left to mature in fine cherry distillate for several months before we process the resulting extract into our liqueur. The fully aromatic cherry distillate gives our liqueur its special taste.The „Knubberkirsche“ is not a type of cherry but the generic term for the thick, sweet cherries that are so characteristic of the „Alte Land“.Unique liqueur preparation: We obtain the special liqueur aroma with its fruity note from the whole fruit, to which we also owe its natural cherry color. We are currently the only producer in northern Germany to use this process.
